Ripping Assistant (charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Stacking and sorting product off the rip/chop saws.

  • Assist in a variety of areas including but not limited to gluing, ripping and chopping.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Supports and applies Keim’s Core Values, Mission & Vision.

  • Flexibility in helping out in a variety of areas.

  • Basic math skills including tape measure.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.

 

Glue Clamp Operator (charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Lay panels to match order requirements.

  • Load and unload product from glue clamps and face press.

  • Alternate positions within the gluing team.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Be consistent and dependable to create a fast efficient production flow.

  • A willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Van Driver (charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Operate a vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Be prompt and consistent.

  • Maintain a clean van.

  • Help with transportation/errand requests.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Able to communicate effectively and work well with co-workers.

  • Knowledge of safe driving practices and techniques.

  • Ability to sit for an extended period of time while transporting co-workers.

  • Excellent time management abilities-learn & follow designated routes, stops & time schedules.

  • Able to work varied hours and days as business dictates. 

 

Inside Deck Sales (charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractor customers by providing timely, knowledgeable service and acting as a reliable point of contact.

  • Assist contractors with product selection, pricing, availability, estimates, and take-offs, including reviewing blueprints and determining material quantities and needs.

  • Prepare accurate quotes, estimates and orders using Point of Sale and quoting software, while coordinating special-order pricing and product information with suppliers and buyers. 

  • Coordinate contractor deliveries by work with the dispatch office to organize delivery dates, jobsite details, GPS coordinates, unloading methods and timing. 

  • Support daily Contractor Sales operations by answering phones, assisting walk-in customers, taking sales calls, attending meetings, and completing other duties as assigned.

  • Strong communication to effectively work with contractors, customers, and co-workers.

  • Ability to read, write, and count and do basic math accurately to complete all documentation. 

  • Knowledge of building materials and construction practices, including product characteristics, applications and appropriate usage; construction experience is a plus.

  • Ability to process information, order and merchandise utilizing the computer system.

  • Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates. 

 

custom doors associate (baltic Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Assist in the production of custom interior doors.

  • Prep components and glass prior to door assembly.

  • Finish sand and package assembled doors.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Desire to be cross trained and assist where needed. 

  • Ability to communicate and perform well as a team.

  • Work safely with attention to detail.
