Planer Sander operator (Charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Reading orders accurately and sanding product to exact specifications. 

  • Stacking and inspecting material and sanding quality.

  • Accurately filling out work order with information needed.

  • Assure safe machine operations and all procedures are followed.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Able to work efficiently with attention to detail.

  • Able to communicate and work well with a team.

Prefinishing assistant (Charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Stain & wipe product to match order requirements.

  • Spray sealer and topcoats on products.

  • Sand products between topcoats.

  • Package products.

  • Be a part of a small team that is cross trained to alternate positions.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Supports and applies Keim Lumber’s Core Values, Mission & Vision Statement. 

  • Able to see color and finish detail.

  • A desire to learn to use a finish gun in a fast and efficient manner.

  • Be able to wear user friendly, self-contained respirator hood.

 

Prehung door operator (Charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Pick door components per production schedule.

  • Precut parts to match order requirements.

  • Operate door machine and install hinges.

  • Assemble and complete door units.

  • Be part of a small team that is cross trained to alternate positions.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Able to work accurately and safely.

  • Able to communicate and perform well with a team.

  • Physically able to handle prehung door units. 

 

Accounts Receivable Specialist (Charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Process invoices and payments accurately while maintaining organized up-to-date financial records.

  • Manage vendor accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and respond to payment-related questions.

  • Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, tax requirements, and confidentiality standards.

  • Support additional finance and administrative tasks as needed.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Supports and applies Keim Lumber’s Core Values, Mission & Vision Statement. 

  • 3-5 years of experience in account payable or related finance role preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately.

  • Proficiency with basic computer systems, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and accounting software.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information.

 

Millwork Sales (Charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Build relationships with co-workers & customers.

  • Assist with customers via phone, fax, email and in-person with Millwork related questions.

  • Generate order and quotes accurately and efficiently.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Supports and applies Keim Lumber’s Core Values, Mission & Vision Statement. 

  • A desire to provide excellent customer service.

  • An interest in Millwork products.

 

People Development Specialist (Charm Location)

Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

  • Develop and manage onboarding and training programs.

  • Partner with leaders to identify training needs.

  • Manage and support co-worker development.

  • Assist with co-worker recruitment.

Some of the requirements of this position are:

  • Supports and applies Keim’s Core Values, Mission & Vision.

  • Previous work experience that includes developing, training, or mentoring individuals to support growth and performance.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality.
