Stain Lab Color Designer (Charm Location)
Some of the responsibilities of this position are:
-
Produce industrial stains & tinted finishes per order for customers.
-
Perform color matching for stains & finishes.
-
Pull customer orders.
-
Measure and mix base & tint products per specification.
Some of the requirements of this position are:
-
Supports and applies Keim Lumber’s Core Values, Mission & Vision Statement

Ability to lift 40-70 lbs.
-
Ability to match colors by eyesight.
-
Tolerance for minor solvent and finish odors.
-
Basic knowledge of stains and finishes would be helpful but not required. Keim is willing to train.
Stain Lab Production (Charm Location)
Some of the responsibilities of this position are:
-
Operating computerized tinting machines.
-
This process adds the colorant that produces industrial stains and tinted finishes. Some colorants must be added manually.
-

Mixing products.
-
Operate paint shakers.
-
All base products are mixed together before components are added. After the components are put together, they go through another mixing process
-
-
Quality control – Check stains & tints before they are sent out to customers.
-
Print labels and apply to containers.
-
Be willing to support the production team with different projects.

Van Driver (Charm Location)
Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

Provide safe & pleasant travel time for employees.

Operate vehicle in a safe & efficient manner.

Be prompt & consistent.

Keep the van clean.

Ability to communicate effectively and work well with co-workers.

Must have a valid drivers license.

Must be responsible and dependable.

Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Lighting & Electrical Sales (Charm Location)
Some of the responsibilities of this position are:

Assist customers with lighting fixtures & accessories.
-
Answer questions regarding pricing, availability and application of products.
-
Provide an excellent customer experience in person, on the phone & via email.
-
Assist with stocking product on shelves and displays.
-
Work the Saturday schedule.

An interest in lighting layout & design.

Good communication skills.

Basic keyboard and computer skills preferred but not required.
