Your New Appliance Is on the Way! Here’s What to Expect:

You picked out new appliances, now it’s time to get them home and in place.  

At Keim, our appliance delivery and installation team helps make that part easier. From getting your appliances safely into your home to helping to get them set up and ready to use, our team is here to make installation day go as smoothly as possible.  

A little preparation ahead of time can help too. Here are a few things to keep in mind before installation day. 

Measure Your Space  

Before choosing your appliances, measure the width, height, and depth of the space where they will go. Be sure to account for cabinets, countertops, trim, and anything else that could affect the fit.  

Get Ready for Delivery Day 

Before our team arrives, clear a path from the entrance to the appliance location. Moving rugs, furniture, and other obstacles gives us room to safely bring your new appliance inside.  

If we’re replacing an existing appliance, make sure it’s emptied and ready to go. It’s also a good idea to confirm any details about removal of your old appliance ahead of time.  

Make Sure the Space Is Ready  

Depending on your new appliance, installation may require access to water, electric, gas, venting, or a drain. Having the space and necessary connections ready helps our installation team get the job done.

Every home is a little different and sometimes we run into an unexpected tight space, uneven floor, or tricky connection. Our delivery and installation team is there to help get your new appliance where it needs to go and installed properly.
